SQMC Quality Policy

SQMC is committed to Management Systems excellence, helping businesses and professionals succeed through best practices and integrity, guided by ISO’s Seven Management Principles.

Our Commitment to Quality

We don’t just teach quality — we live it. That’s why we:

  • Keep improving – We regularly review and refine what we do, making sure our training and consultancy services stay relevant, effective, and engaging.
  • Meet the rules that matter – We comply with all legal (e.g., Health & Safety at Work Act), regulatory (e.g., GDPR), and industry requirements (e.g.CQI & IRCA accreditation), so our clients can trust what they learn with us.
  • Set and aim for real goals – We use our Quality Management System (QMS) to track progress, set clear objectives, and measure how well we’re doing.
  • Make sure everyone gets it – Our team understands this policy, applies it in their work, and plays a part in keeping our standards high. It's readily available on our company website.

Here’s how we put it into action:

  1. Customer Focus  We tailor our training and consultancy to meet the unique needs of every client, ensuring practical, high-impact solutions that exceed expectations.
  2. Leadership  We lead by example, seeking to inject our own high standards into the organisations we support through ethical conduct, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  3. Engagement of People  We invest in our team, valuing their skills, well-being, and families. By recognising their contributions and loyalty, we cultivate strong camaraderie and lasting commitment to our mission and customers.
  4. Process Approach  We apply logical, structured methods—guided by Deming’s PDCA cycle—to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and continual improvement in everything we do.
  5. Improvement  We refine our services through customer and colleague feedback, industry developments, and technological advancements. By embracing innovation and learning, we ensure our QHSE services remain relevant and effective.
  6. Evidence-Based Decision Making  We strive to use data, insights, and best practices to guide improvements, while balancing experience and sound judgment when required.
  7. Relationship Management  We build lasting partnerships through a personal, down-to-earth approach. Many of our students become lifelong colleagues, and some even return as tutors, continuing the cycle of excellence. By staying accessible and invested in people’s careers, we support mutual success far beyond the classroom.
