The Scottish Quality Management Centre (SQMC) understand that ISO 9001:2015 will finally be released as a 'full ISO' by the British Standards Institute tomorrow (23/09/15).
The launch brings to a close a lengthy period of development, review, collaboration and consultation among the committees responsible for ISO 9001, and their members. Much work has gone into the production of the new Standard, which SQMC believe is a highly progressive step up from the 2008 version, which will be gradually phased out by certified organsiations over the next three years.
Quality professionals and auditors keen to learn about the changes to be made to a Quality Management System when adopting the new Standard are encouraged to sign up for SQMC's Transition module, which is accredited by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).
